If you’re like me, you may know of Born Pretty Store for their nail art supplies. Water decals, stamping plates and polish Born Pretty is a great source for nail art. I had never really considered them for interesting and unique indie style polishes. Luckily for me, Born Pretty sent me two polishes for review from their 6ml Holo Polish collection. I’m featuring #32, a chameleon multichrome style polish today.
Born Pretty Chameleon #32 Swatch – Full Manicure
In the listing for this polish here, you’ll see that black undies are recommended. Like most multi or duochromes, black undies (applying over a base coat of black polish) will improve your finish and allow you to use fewer coats. That said, I tried this polish out without undies and am showing you swatches of three coats with topcoat and no black underneath.
The formula on this polish is great, and the finish is lovely. I don’t know what I was expecting, but definitely not the quality and formula I found. This polish is indie quality and is very unique. Unfortunately, it’s also really expensive. 6mls is essentially a mini, and at $10.99 USD, #32 is really expensive. I usually don’t like mini bottles, but this one is easy to use and the brush is nice.
Born Pretty Chameleon #32 Swatch – Macro
I think I would prefer this polish more without the silver holo glitter, but it is still really pretty. Wear time is good. If you’re planning on placing an order from Born Pretty, you can use my discount code NKTX31 for 10% off. Shipping is always free. Be aware that shipping can take quite a while, but if you’re like me, so long as I go into a purchase with that expectation, it doesn’t really bother me. This polish is located HERE.
