The wonderful women of the Hobby Polish Bloggers have a monthly themed linkup, and this month’s prompt is neutrals and neons.
I recently brought home a haul of gorgeous new H&M polishes, and since two are lovely neutrals (cream and grey), I determined that this was just the occasion to break them out. Stay tuned to swatches and reviews of the base polishes themselves. Today though, we’re adding neons into the mix!
Neutrals and Neons Nail Art – Macro
I started with a base of H&M’s Stucco, a soft grey toned neutral, and then sponged H&M’s Marsala Chai, a soft taupey neutral on the tips to form a subtle gradient. A solid coat of Girly Bits Border Patrol kept my cuticles clean and tidy for both the sponged gradient and the subsequent stamping. I used an unnamed neon pink from Mariposa (purchased at Dollarama in a set) and a graphic chevron image from plate JQ-33 from AliExpress.
