I purchased a bold and graphic stamping plate from Born Pretty Store recently and have been using it for a number of manicures. I decided to celebrate the transition of Spring into Summer with the thick leaf and floral designs available on the plate. I think this leafy nail art is really fun for Summer!

Starting with a base of H&M Masala Chai, I stamped bright green leaves using Sally Hansen Salon Manicure Grass Slipper. I find this polish to be a bit of a stainer, but as a stamping polish it’s perfect since it doesn’t have contact with my nails directly.

Leafy Nail Art Macro

I made a quick set of decals for my accent nails using the solo flower image on this plate stamped with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pink. I filled in the flowers with an unnamed light pink Mariposa polish from Dollarama. I really like how thick the lines are on this plate and the bold creme colours I used.

Leafy Nail Art Flower Accent – Macro

I’m really happy with how these turned out and loved wearing them! Are you doing anything special with your nails to celebrate Summer?
