Today I’m sharing a new to me brand, Lollipop Posse Lacquer. This brand is made in the US in small batches, and is 5 free and vegan friendly. Each 12ml bottle typically retails for between $9.50 and $12 USD. There is a free shipping threshold for both US and international orders, but note that it’s quite high for us Canadians, so you might considering grouping up with a few other polish lovers to hit the $175 mark it’s currently set at.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer – Stardate 41153.7 Video Swatch and Review
Released as part of the June Nouveau Geek Box (Star Trek Themed), Stardate 41153.7 is a glittery holo grey and blue polish with a really great formula. Swatches are 2 coats, and they applied very smoothly for a microglitter, and dried quickly. To get a full glossy finish you’ll need a topcoat, but I’m starting to prefer polishes that don’t dry totally glossy since I feel like they’re more versatile.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer – Stardate 41153.7 Macro
The macro shows how fine and glittery this polish is. Despite the density of the glitter, application was a breeze and removal was surprisingly easy. I like how different this looks close up vs. far away, so I’m showing you a shot below that is representative of what I see when I regularly admire my polish.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer – Stardate 41153.7 Swatch
Named after the stardate for the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (Encounter at Farpoint), this polish is entirely futuristic feeling. TNG remains my favourite of the Star Trek series, so I’m thrilled that this polish does it justice.
Lollipop Posse Lacquer has made a fan of me with this polish. I have yet to order from them directly, so I can’t comment on customer service or turnaround time, but the product is excellent.
