Well – it happened. Life (actually work) caught up with me and I fell behind on the challenge. Not to worry though, I will be doubling up on polishes until I’m back on track since I’m determined to swatch all 32 polish brands I posted in my Day 1 challenge review.

Up first is Literary Lacquers, The Mad Ones, a soft spring green holo.

The Mad Ones – Soft Green Holographic

This was a lovely application experience and a wonderful colour. I love the softness of the shade and the matching soft but sparkly holographic effect. Three thin coats and a topcoat for the swatches.

Literary Lacquers is a favourite of mine with several other swatches and reviews here on Nailing-It. Connect with Amy and LL via her Etsy site and Facebook.

Next is Lacquer Lust’s Pearl. This is part of the holographic birthstone series from the “other” LL (Lacquer Lust). I was thrilled to get my paws on this polish since it’s both stunning and my actual birthstone (Pearl – June).

Pearl – Pastel purple holographic

This polish was an easy two coater for me, but would also work fine in three thin coats. It applied incredibly easily and dried fairly shiny, though I did still topcoat it for these swatches. It reminds me of the A England Ballerina polishes but with a slightly stronger holo. Very pretty!
