Empties are always so exciting. It means I’m actually using the things in my stash to completion, and I can determine what I should continue to buy in the future. I’m pumped to share some of my October 2015 empties with you.

Notable Products

Maybelline Fit Me Hydrate + Smooth Foundation in Porcelain 110:

This is the best drugstore foundation I’ve found to date. My skin tends to be fairly dry and if I’m not really careful, I end up with foundation clinging to dry patches on my nose and forehead. This has none of that. It matches my skintone well, applies easily with a foundation brush, and after setting with a translucent powder, wears pretty well too. When I see this on deal I buy it (I have two backup bottles now) since my colour is frequently sold out. Great deal and my current daily go to for foundation. Note that in the US, this product is called Dewy + Smooth, not Hydrate + Smooth.

Lips: Dr. Roebuck’s:

I loved this when I first got it. It’s all natural, and while a little oily, it was long lasting and moisturized my lips well overnight. Unfortunately, within about a month, the product crystallized and got gritty. I had to toss it unfortunately.
